Our Code of Ethics is
at the very heart of our business. It encompasses the values, standards
and behaviours that we believe are critical to building and maintaining
successful business relationships with our clients, associates, suppliers
and with each other. Our code also provides indigo Associates with a
framework within which to manage their responsibilities to course participants,
colleagues and clients whenever they represent the company.
- We conduct our business dealings ethically and with integrity to ensure that we are always proud to be a part of indigo.
- We serve all our customers well by supplying products and services which provide business benefits above business costs.
- We value our own and others’ diversity, and work to combat discrimination in all its forms.
- We clarify limits of confidentiality and establish and maintain appropriate boundaries between us and our customers so that working relationships are not confused with friendship or other relationships.
- We design our own training and development materials, complying where appropriate with copyright legislation; we give credit to others should we use materials that others have originated, and seek permission to use their work.
- We acknowledge individuality by treating each other with dignity and respect, and by striving to maintain consistent, open, honest and positive communications among all of us.
- We recognise and reward the contributions and achievements of each Director.
- We demonstrate a commitment to continuing professional development so that we can plan for the future and influence our destiny instead of letting events overtake us.
- We make decisions in the light of what is right for the good of the company rather than what is expedient in a given situation.
- We resolve differences and conflicts in ways that minimise offence and maximise knowledge.
